Innovation Luncheon

Join us as we celebrate innovation with a presentation of the 2010 Innovation Awards and a program by Disney Institute.

The 2010 Innovation Awards, presented by TAWPI, IAPP, and IARP, will recognize the creative use of advanced technologies, tools and processes in accounts payable automation and accounts receivable automation. The motto for this year's recognition program is Excellence in Business Process Innovation. The 2010 Innovation Awards recognize one organization in each of two categories:

We're searching for organizations that are deploying advanced use of transaction-based images and data to boost efficiency and the bottom line.

Accounts Receivable Innovation
How do you leverage technology and the business process to take your remittance and receivables to the next level?

The 2010 Winners will be announced at a special luncheon on Monday, May 10 followed by a world-class presentation by Disney Institute.

 

Evening Events

FUSION 2010 includes two phenomenal events for attendees and their guests to network in a creative and collaborative setting. Both are included in the registration for all conference attendees, including paid attendees, exhibitors, CFOs, controllers, and shared service leaders; guests can attend for an additional charge.

Receptions in The Exhibit Hall

Three afternoon receptions will be held in the exhibit hall. Each offers attendees a fun-filled afternoon gathering the latest information on products and services showcased in the exhibit hall.

  • Wednesday, May 12, 4:15 p.m.- 6:00 p.m

Remittance Mail Advisory Committee (RMAC) General Meeting & Luncheon

The RMAC is an organization comprised of remittance industry and Postal Service representatives who work collaborativelyto provide recommendations for improving mail processing, performance, consistency, and meeting emerging needs in theremittance industry. Participate in lively exchanges with your peers and postal representatives in an interactive roundtable andluncheon. Get an inside look at this organization, and learn about each of the subcommittees, their current agenda issues, the drive to expand membership and their annual goals first-hand in a dynamic and interactive setting. Industry-Specific Breakout Sessions

On Tuesday, May 11, there will be three industry-specific breakout sessions offered for AP and AR professionals in health-care, manufacturing, and retail. More information can be found in Tuesday's Daily Schedule at a Glance and under the session descriptions for Accounts Payable Operations. There is no additional fee for attending the industry-specific sessions.

Council Meetings

TAWPI Councils are dynamic, interactive forums of industry stakeholders engaged in identifying and implementing actionable strategies to meet operational and market driven challenges in payments automation and document management. During these invitation-only meetings, industry experts will share practical solutions and best practices for business process improvement.

The Healthcare Payments Automation Council will meet on Tuesday, May 11.

The Payments and Receivables Council will meet on Wednesday, May 12.
