Agency Commissions, Discounts & Conditions
Recognized advertising agencies are given a 15% commission on gross billing only when payment is made within 30 days of invoice. Mechanical charges are not commissionable. In order to qualify for frequency discounts, advertisers must schedule for multiple insertions at the time of initial contract. Advertisers who fail to complete frequency contracts will be short-rated.

Ad Specifications  

File Formats: (Macintosh platform) QuarkXpress , Illustrator CS2,  Photoshop CS,  TIF, EPS, and PDF. All files must be high resolution (300/150 line screen) with all fonts and images imbedded.

Color Proofs: must be supplied with all ads. Publisher is not responsible for content of ad if no color proof is supplied.

Media accepted: CD or FTP download preferred. emailed files should not be over 5 megabytes.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Insertion Orders must arrive at TAWPI by the advertising due date listed
    on the Editorial Calendar or advertising will not be published for that issue. Verbal confirmations are not acceptable. Artwork and all materials must arrive at TAWPI no later  than the deadline dates indicated in the Editorial Calendar.
  2. The previous ad will be repeated if new artwork is not received by the deadline date.
  3. The publisher reserves the right to determine ad placement, although every effort will be made to fulfill placement requests.
  4. Artwork will be destroyed 12 months after last insertion unless specific written instructions are received indicating art is to be returned.
  5. Advertisers under contract will be rate-protected as per the terms of the contract.
  6. Subject matter, size, wording, illustration, and typography of all advertising is subject to publisher’s approval. Advertisers and agencies assume liability for the content of their advertisements and assume responsibility for any claims therefore made against the publisher.
    Cancellations:
  7. No cancellations or changes in insertion orders will be accepted after the space advertising due date. Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days preceding date of insertion. Any advertiser canceling after the space reservation must pay  the full charge for space.
  8. Advertisers who fail to comply with frequency contracts will incur a short rate.
    Payment:
  9. TAWPI will invoice the advertising agency or advertiser immediately after publication and will send two copies of the magazine as proof of insertion.
    Payment must be received within 30 days after the invoice date or service charges will be incurred.
  10. The publisher reserves the right to require full payment in advance for companies with poor credit history.
    Note: First-time advertisers should pre-pay either with their insertion order or prior to their first publication date or
    have an approved line of credit with TAWPI.
    Delinquent Accounts:
  11. Those accounts that are outstanding for 60 days or more by the space closing date of the current issue will be restricted from advertising until payment is received, and the account will be referred to the principal client. Payment not received after 90 days will be turned over to a collection agency.
