Volatile Times Call for Agile Solutions
In today’s unsettled business climate, organizations must be much more focused on how they leverage their internal resources, particularly their mission-critical business information. It isimperative that this data be efficiently and effectively captured, processed, managed, and delivered, so that the best use can be made of this information – from order fulfillment to customer service to working capital management.
An essential element of any strong business, agile payments and document automation solutions can drive significant business and operations value, positively impacting every department across the enterprise – far beyond the initial point of presentment or capture.
And that’s as true in good times as it is in bad. Emerging imaging, data recognition, auto classification and workflow technologies allow organizations to manage crucial business processes to successfully deal with today’s increasingly complex challenges.
While they are no panacea for collapsing credit markets, skyrocketing crude oil prices, or a wobbling stock market, these technologies create an environment that enables organizations to manage information according to existing and changing business needs. Improving how you control and access information – from capture to archive – can help your organization better align this data with its business needs, to help you capitalize on this important asset.
For instance, complex data capture at the lockbox allows an organization to gather more information, more quickly, on its customers, and change its portfolio of products or services. Likewise, an effective and efficient forms processing system supports a consistent set of best practices for data capture and QA in order fulfillment, subscription management and more. And distributed capture gets at valuable information at the earliest point of presentment, providing a flexible means for adapting capture to the unique needs of each organization.
Emerging payments and document technologies also are key to meeting tighter budget restraints and staffing requirements, delivering cost efficiencies to help
organizations meet their business needs during volatile times, while maintaining the service they depend on.
